Screen Grabs

Welcome!

To "He is coming...", the official site for my up and coming First Person Horror Shooter, created using the FPS Creator by The Game Creators. The game is a mixture of Silent Hill and Half-Life 2. I wanted it to be more of a atmospheric horror movie, rather than a run-n-gun shoot-em-up and I wanted the player to keep wondering "what's going to pop out next!?". The entire game takes place over 5 chapters: Chapter 1 - Town, Chapter 2 - Hospital, Chapter 3 - Car Park, Chapter 4 - Subway, Chapter 5 - Under the Town and is a mixture of exploration, puzzle and, of course, shoot-em-up.

The first chapter is finished and can be downloaded below.

You play the part of a sheriff of a small town. 7 miles down the road your father is the sheriff of another small town. Every week you both meet up to discuss what's going on.

Over the past few weeks your father has be telling you about weird things that have been happening... people going missing... strange creatures seen... something 'not quite right' with the town.

But this week your father hasn't shown up and he's not answering his phone, your shift has just finished and you decide to head over to the town to find out what's happened to your father...

The idea for the Town level is simply to get into the hospital! There are a variety of clues to help you. It is possible to get into the hospital, just keep trying ;).

As more of the game progresses, so will this website. It will expand to show off each chapter with screen grabs and juicy titbits to keep you wanting more. I'm already half way through the second chapter and ideas are in place for the third. The fourth chapter will be a bit of a mystery, don't want to spoil the surprise now do we. Enjoy

Here is the full download for the first chapter. It's approximately 160mb and is in .zip format. Once downloaded, just unzip it into it's own folder and double click on the .exe file. You'll need a pretty hefty machine to get a decent frame rate. I have a E6850 dual core - 3Ghz and an 1gb 8800 GTS graphics card and I get an average of 25-30.
